Carol's Recap

Ted has asked us all to summarize our favourite moments of this trip. Thats a very difficult thing to do because it changed with every turn, vista, mountain, lake, town. Each one was so beautiful and special I can't really pick a favorite.

I will not re-cap the trip as it has alreaady been stated, but for me my most special moment was this picture taken in Ted Turner's bar in Denver. Brenda and I had just arrived after an harrowing flight, Rose and Aldo had just given us a great suprise, the guys had arrived safely, and we were finally all together and about to start the trip we had been planning for a year. That for me was the most exciting moment.

The Anticipation, the wonder of what we were going to experience and see was about to start. I remember the feeling of butterflies on my stomach as we took off from Denver. It was like being on a roller coaster, up,up,up- you know the feeling when you get to the top, your heart is racing and you know how thrilling it will be when you start the downward It was new and uncharted territory for all of us, we were all virgins.

Ted is very right when he said we all came back wanting more. That to me summarizes how great the trip was. We will always treasure our memories of this trip.
